A wonderful piece of local artisanal work constructed entirely from hand shaped spindles made out of poplar. Ideal for use in a kitchen for displaying vegetables - fruit - baguettes etc.

An Eight Day Oak Long Case Clock By Thomas Clarke Of Burton An Eight Day Oak Long Case Clock By Thomas Clarke Of Burton. A clock made by Thomas Clarke of Burton dating to Circa 1770 with an eight day movement striking on the hour. The oak case of smaller proportions the silvered and brass face with Roman numerals - the smaller dial showing seconds the small aperture showing the date. A well proportioned clock that is smaller than most with backboards replaced in the 19th Century.
