A Circa 1690 Walnut Framed Settle Covered In Early Needlework. The back of the settee depicting a country gathering of people dates to the mid 17th Century – the seat covering is slightly later and dates to the mid 18th Century.

A rare period oak settle profusely carved and dated 1674 with the initials 'AS'. Fitted with a box base and hinged lifting seat and raised on extending stile supports . Good colour and overall condition with period restorations commensurate with age.
